Our member spotlight this month is MetalQuest Solutions of Hebron, Nebraska. MetalQuest Solutions is a subsidiary company of MetalQuest Unlimited that was launched in early 2023 to help bring Industry 4.0 solutions that have made them successful to other manufacturers across the country.
The nationally recognized leader has created a partnership with Dassault Systèmes and their DELMIA software to assist manufacturer with examining various aspects of their operations. Some of these areas include factory flow and space efficiency, machine and robotics programming, automation and simulation, resource identification, real-time acquisition, and process optimization.
"Through our commitment to continually invest in new technologies and the reliable partnership with Dassault Systèmes, we became equipped to tackle everyday challenges and were able to build MetalQuest Unlimited into what it is today. This effort gave us an opportunity to deliver proven, experienced-based solutions to manufacturers that are unsure of how to take the next step into an Industry 4.0 environment." - Scott Harms, President
In order to create a digital analysis toolkit that can help a company optimize their processes, a facility scan must be created and uploaded to a point cloud file so that it can be used in a simulation model. To accomplish this, MetalQuest Solutions has partnered with the K-State Technology Development Institute (TDI) to utilize its recently acquired NavNis XLS scanning system which enables companies to create digital twin of both their facility and equipment. Once the scan and files have been created, the DELMIA software at MetalQuest can be utilized to examine and optimize various aspects of manufacturing processes.
"With our 25 years of automated manufacturing experience, we have an excellent understanding of how to do more with less. Utilizing the digital twin files and the DELMIA software gives us the tools to help other manufacturing companies realize these benefits and make the best possible decisions to grow and expand their operations." - Scott Harms, President
Through a positive work culture and strong foundation, MetalQuest Solutions will continue to be a flexible and competitive company in the Midwest and beyond. They look forward to entering new markets and helping manufacturers who are motivated to adopt Industry 4.0 principles.
